                                    Canvas Status Update!

Per NCDPI Security guidance, all NCVPS users should remain logged out of Canvas (via NCEdCloud or direct login) until forensic reviews confirm that the security issue has been fully resolved. The security of our students, staff, and school partners remains our highest priority.

We are working closely with Instructure and NCDPI to support a safe return to instruction while also ensuring continuity for students and staff across the state. We know disruptions like this are frustrating, and we sincerely appreciate the patience, flexibility, and support our school communities have shown during this time.

We are continuing to monitor the situation and work with NCDPI Security. At this time, we do not anticipate a resolution today (Friday, May 8, 2026), so we encourage you to enjoy today and the weekend without worrying about NCVPS courses. Check back Monday morning for an update on how the Spring semester will be adjusted.
